For midwife registration with the Nursing & Midwifery Council (NMC), PTE Academic is not accepted. The NMC accepts only IELTS Academic (7.0 overall) or OET (grade B). We tell you this plainly so you don't prepare for the wrong test.
PTE Academic (UKVI) is on the UK's list of Secure English Language Tests for student visas, and most UK universities accept PTE Academic for admission. For Skilled Worker visas the English requirement is usually met through your profession's registration or an approved test.
